AIC is part of a team to realise United CO., a purpose built, designed and equipped co-working space for businesses ranging from 2 to 100+ staff. Facilities include ergonomically furnished offices, state of the art meeting rooms, event space, gym, wellness space and secure car parking. AIC were engaged to supply and place concrete and formwork to this multi-level facility being constructed inside the walls of a historic building in Smith Street Fitzroy. The most challenging item was the construction of an insitu double lift shaft and stair well using formwork and shotcrete. Our coatings division was engaged to polish and seal both new and old concrete to specification.
