George Rydell Constructions engaged AIC for the construction of the new $30m dairy facility for Coles/Devondale in Erskine Park. The facility is capable of supplying up to 150 million packaged litres of milk annually, allowing the company to meet its 10-year contract with Coles to supply fresh milk. It incorporates environmentally-sustainable design features including built-in heat exchanges, oil-less refrigeration compressor technology and specially designed stormwater and trade waste systems. The process areas were laid with 1800sqm of polyurethane screeds. There was also approximately 700sqm of epoxy coatings.
